Alex snorted when Michael mentioned trying to take the planet over because he had to admit that it sounded silly. He couldn't think of three people less likely to take anything over. Especially Michael. He couldn't think of anyone more against 'the man' than Michael, although maybe that'd be different if 'the man' were the people who'd left him here. Or maybe it wouldn't be, considering the three of them were here alone.
"You don't have to talk yourself up," he murmured. "I trust you, Michael, I do. It's just a kind of big thing to wrap my head around, you know? Not anything specific. Just the general concept."
Aliens were a concept he knew from books and from SETI, not something he'd ever expected to meet in his lifetime. And here was one in his...boyfriend? Was that what Michael was?
He leaned in and pressed his lips to Michael's in a soft kiss. "Now, fix your damn hand so you can serenade me," he whispered against Michael's lips.
