Settled more comfortably, Michael curled into Alex a bit more, fingers of his right hand playing with Alex's hair. He cursed the injured hand that kept him from touching more at once. But they were close and touching, and that made him happier than it should.
He shrugged a little at the question, mostly because it was the one thing he wanted to tell Alex most, but couldn't, but...he could tell him some of it, right?
"How do you work in the alien museum and not know this?" he asked with a teasing chuckle. "This is where the crash happened."
Which, to be honest, was kind of depressing, objectively, but it had always felt...right, safe, to Michael.
